Advanced Cleaning Operation
As dust accumulates on the filters, an onboard pressure gauge continuously monitors the differential pressure between the clean and dirty sides of the baghouse. When the preset maximum differential pressure is reached, a solid-state timer board activates the cleaning system.
The system opens an electric solenoid, triggering the diaphragm valve to release compressed air from the manifold into the blowpipe above the bag filters. This pulse of air dislodges the dust buildup from the filter interior, allowing it to be removed efficiently—all while the system remains online for continuous operation.
For added efficiency, the SmartFlo™ Baghouse features a downtime cleaning cycle, providing a final pulse-clean after shutdown to maximize dust release and extend filter life.
